In this shot, we see both the sun setting through the South rock, as well as a rain squall on the right. Fortunately, the Highway Department build a turnout because drivers often stop to take a pic. Each evening, the cormorants return to these rocks, known as The Three Graces, to roost in the branches of these hardy little trees. Walking only a few dozen feet into it from a city street, and this is the view you get. As far as anybody in town could tell me, this area has always been a native area.
